Pinned Visions

Everyday I thank God in advance for the blessings I will be receiving; I am recognizing His faithfulness to give me the greatest gifts I could have. Glory by glory, I know He’s bringing me closer to the places I’ll visit; making me equipped for the works I’ll accomplish; teaching me to be more humble with the things I’ll claim; and getting me more experienced for the family I’ll have in the future.

They said claiming all these things isn't enough -- you need to keep your vision in front of you. And I’m doing this by pinning these visions on this blog. But aside from that, let me share to you my goals and how I am making it more visible everyday.

First on the board is the strength and wisdom God’s giving me to stand for this generation. To make this vision visible, I putted this Lifebox logo on my cork board in the office. I know it’s of reach that I’ll be leading my own Victory group and make disciples. And I am thankful that God made a way for me to also reach to the youth in my hometown (Legazpi City, Albay [in same way, this is an early birthday gift to me]) -- by God’s grace, I was able to commit (starting August 15, 2013) to support one of our campus ministers monthly. What a great start, right!?

Second on the bucket list are these TWO houses (for my parents and for my future family). I also pinned these on my board in my cubicle. God is speaking to me everyday that I am on the right path and nearing to these two precious abode. That’s why every single day isn't that tough ‘coz Someone has given me an advance gift. Thank you, Lord!

This logo represents my third gift from God. You’re right! That’s the United Nations Volunteers logo. Also stuck on my board in the office, this logo reminds me that God promised me to be a UN VOLUNTEER. With this, every trial I face in the office is treated as training; giving me the idea to be thankful instead of complaining. It’s a free training! Who would not love that?

This blog, on the other hand, will record how I travel the world. In time, I’ll be creating another page labeled as ‘He Brought Me To’. Wherever God would bring me, I know He has a purpose. I’m excited to step on the promise lands He told me.
I love roaming in supermarkets and home depots. I don’t know why but I am reminded by God’s promise of business whenever I see groceries, appliances, or furniture. May be He’s telling me that I’ll be prosperous and get all these items. I am thrilled to own a farm and restaurant(s). I want a hundred hectare farm wherein everything’s organic. There would be our rest house. Of course, the products of the farm would be used for our luxurious restaurants. I’m really excited for these!

Lastly (for now), is the family God will be giving to me. I don’t pin or write this on anything but the family I am dreaming is always in my mind. I usually tell my friends whenever they ask me about my ideal girl that, ‘I actually don’t know’. Because honestly, I don’t imagine the girl…I visualize the family I want to have. But I am praying that God by now is preparing us both before we even meet; preparing us for the ups and downs of being a boyfriend & a girlfriend, a husband & a wife, and a father and a mother. I still believe in and I know that there is still someone who believes in ‘the first and last’. I want to have three kids and they already have names. Haha! If my wife would allow me, I would like to name them as Cern (boy) and Cerin (girl)…I leave the last name for her to decide. Haha! But of course, this is negotiable. I also want to share my dream proposal and wedding but that won’t be a surprise for her anymore when she read this. So, that’s a secret for now. I’m sure it will be part of this blog in the future.

That’s it! Thanks for giving your time to read this! Let me update this once God speak to me for additional blessings. I want to hear yours! Pin it! God bless.

Hey cervin, keep blogging! I was also dreaming to be a UN volunteer, unfortunately my application was denied because my career is not needed for humanitarian works :D

Let me know if you want something like www.cervinbariso.com or www.cervin.ph for your blog ;)
